The Dainty Men in America

Where Have All the Real Men Gone

The Red Ripple – America Hasn’t Suffered

This is the fourth in my midterm election series.

It’s late at night for this simple bus driver who must get up at 0430 (4:30 am for those in Rio Linda), and I just finished reading an article in the American Spectator by Scott McKay, Maybe America Hasn’t Suffered Enough – The American Spectator | USA News and Politics. I urge you to read it, don’t worry, it’s bus driver short.

Scott’s point is this, with inflation just beginning to take hold, unemployment looming but not severe, recession waiting around the corner, and government handouts still flooding the economy; Americans haven’t suffered to a degree sufficient to change their voting habits. This may be how the Red Tidal Wave became a gentile red tide.

In his article Scott references an adage about Weak Men and Tough Times; it’s something I’ve heard before but didn’t know its origins. So this simple bus driver did a little digging. It turns out the saying comes from the ancient Greeks who were talking about the rise and fall of governments and the people governed. Weak Men Make Hard Times – The American Spectator | USA News and Politics is another article you should read. It really brings the concept home for every American older than forty-five.

Weak men make hard times, hard times make strong men, strong men make good times, good times make weak men. The cycle repeats itself over and over again in human history. This is a fact.

In light of the woke, CRT, pronoun-sensitive, testosterone-phobic, snowflake generation of today, I think there needs to be a modernization of this maxim.

Dainty Men make Hard Times, Hard Times make Strong Men, Strong Men make Easy Times, Easy Times make Dainty Men.

The USNS Harvey Milk, bow view, dry-dock (I’m sorry).

Soft Men implies, at least to me, lazy or weak, not woke or effeminate. The generation of today has skipped past laziness and gone straight to dainty. The US Navy has a ship named the USNS Harvey Milk, celebrating the Gay Rights leader who was other than honorably discharged from the Navy. And did I read somewhere that he was a pedophile? Now, he has a US Navy ship. Gotta wonder, where the real men are, and do they drink Navy milk? I apologize for that double-entendre. But somebody needs to ask.

USNS Harvey Milk, stern view. I am SO sorry 😉.

And let’s not forget that today’s Army recruitment tools include animated cartoon characters touting the benefits of diversity, sensitivity, and pronoun selection. Do you think our enemies care which pronoun they’re shooting at? And here’s some more food for thought. If the enemy shoots an American-they, does it count as more than one kill? Again, just asking.

The DOD is a bad Woke Joke, and the lead comedian is General Milley. I will not mince words; you are in Gross Dereliction of Duty. General Mark Milley “Mouth,” listen to me. I do not want a SENSITIVE, KIND, ACCEPTING, and FORGIVING MILITARY. I want a military that KICKS ASS. Period!

It’s this type of political correctness that influences dainty men to vote their emotions. I know it seems like I conflated separate issues; looming hard economic times, the weak US military, woke agenda, and the Red Tide Fizzle, but each is at the heart of Liberal Progressivism. A weak and woke military, backed by dainty people willing to sacrifice freedom for freebies, are ripe for communist takeover. And the communist will do it by exploiting the emotional vote. How else do you get to the point where Drag-Queens are appropriate in public grade schools?

Rainbow-Dildo-Butt-Monkey reading to kids like yours. Reportedly, if he turned around, you’d see his bare butt.

This is proof positive that the Dainty Men in America haven’t suffered enough.

PS – Where have all the real men gone? One thing is for sure, Gen. Mark Milley doesn’t know. We need someone who does.

What Would Douglas Say (part-1)

General Douglas MacArthur, General Mark Milley, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller

Right from the beginning let’s address the elephant in the room. Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller spoke out publically against the military while actively serving. In military circles, this is tantamount to betraying your family. By saying the wrong thing even for the right reasons, you risk the lives of your fellow soldiers. It’s a fact that among other things, necessitates fervent trust within the military services.

It’s why when a soldier of any rank is given an order; that order is expected to be carried out. If an order is so wrong, so corrupt in its very nature that it defies all reason and must not be carried out, a soldier has only one recourse. Resignation. It’s intended to be a drastic remedy and there’s a purpose behind the intention.

War is a dirty business and it’s conducted in a way that civilians wouldn’t understand or tolerate. You can disagree with an order, you can even question an order given the right circumstance, you may even be able to proffer alternatives, but in the end, you do what you’re told. Just because you don’t agree with an order doesn’t mean you don’t have the responsibility to carry it out.  It’s not comfortable and it’s not uncommon.

Soldiers on the battlefield don’t know what their commanders know; the commanders don’t know what the generals know. It’s called the chain of command for a reason and it’s essential to a proper military.

Where am I going with all this? Well, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller knew what he was doing when he posted his grievance on social media. I can understand the frustration; I can understand the necessity to do something drastic when nothing else seems to work. But he made a mistake.

That’s right. In my opinion, the Lt. Col. put the cart in front of the horse. I think he should’ve resigned first, and then spoken out. I know there are time constraints but the symbolism is almost as important as the act. That said. He posted his objections to the Afghanistan retreat and requested accountability for its failure while still active duty. Of course, after the post was made public, the Marine Corps should’ve requested his resignation; it should’ve been submitted and accepted. The end. The ordeal is resolved.

This type of civil disobedience in the military is virtually always resolved by administrative penalty. He lost his career and his pension; it’s a huge sacrifice for speaking out and he chose to make it. Case closed. So why, after his resignation attempt, was the Lt. Col. arrested and thrown in the brig without formal charges? Answer. He isn’t woke.

General Mark Milley (mouse), on the other hand, is as woke as they come, and has publicly admitted to congress (by not denying it when asked) that he made phone calls to a hostile Chinese government intent on someday destroying America. He planned to warn the enemy of an impending attack should there be one. The telephone calls confirmed it. By anyone other than General Milley (mouse) and his woke cohorts, this is treason. He’s a traitor and the man (if you could call him that) should not only be fired, he should be rotting in the brig, not Lt. Col. Scheller. Scheller’s actions might have been extreme, but they weren’t treasonous.

I recently saw a historical piece on WWII and of course, General Douglas MacArthur was mentioned as a hero. In light of what’s happened in the last nine months with the Afghanistan debacle, the southern border invasion, the economic suicide regarding inflation that the Biden administration is presiding over, and let’s not forget the Lt. Col.’s imprisonment; I asked myself, what would MacArthur think.

You may be surprised by my take on the subject. See part – 2.

What Would Douglas Say

(part-2, please read part-1 first, it’s worth it)

General Douglas MacArthur, General Mark Milley, Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller

After reading the above quote, it should be obvious to the average person, that General Douglas MacArthur would be aghast at what Lt. Col. Scheller did. An American hero like MacArthur would be fine with Scheller rotting the rest of his life away in the brig. Or would he?

I submit to you that such an assumption would be wrong, very wrong and I can prove it. Context is so important and history is where we get it. If you were educated in public schools prior to political correctness, affirmative action, no child left behind, common core, and critical race theory, then you’d know a little about American history. You’d know that General MacArthur was a WWII hero (I believe he was awarded the Medal of Honor) who later commanded American forces in Korea. You’d also know that President Truman fired MacArthur for insubordination after the General publicly denounced Truman’s policies regarding Korea. MacArthur did not resign before going public.

In light of what I just told you, reading the General’s quote changes your opinion of Lt. Col. Scheller doesn’t it? If it doesn’t, it should. It seems that Scheller and MacArthur may have been cut from the same cloth. Both sacrificed for those they serve and those they served with.

Scheller, like General MacArthur, put his career on the line to stand up and fight for what he believes.

It should be pointed out that MacArthur was not arrested and sent to the brig, he was fired.

After reading MacArthur’s quote for a second time with a little truth and factual history for context — who do you think he’d like to see rotting in jail?

General Mark Milley (mouse) gets my vote.

It’s China on line one for the General.

I Hate to Say I Told You So …

The bald-faced truth hidden behind the title.

Prelude to the post:

In order to establish my credibility, expertise, and truth detecting abilities regarding the following post, let me reiterate, I’m a bus driver. People, whose daily existence depends solely on their innate ability to deceive, lie to me every day in a vain attempt to avoid paying their fare share. We call them passengers.

Now for the post:

Everybody always says it: I hate to tell you that I told you so but— and then they go on telling you. Of course, it’s a blatant lie. If they hated to tell you something, they wouldn’t, and that would be the end it. That said. I’m here to break with tradition and pretense; I’m going to publicly relish and admire my prescient abilities by proclaiming

I Love to Say I Told You So.

Check out my post The Tail is Wagging the Dog. It’s a little long but it has a big picture that takes up a lot of space. It’s one of my more important posts given the situation our military leadership is in today. And make no mistake; it is our military, not the leadership’s. This is an excerpt to whet your appetite.

General Milley-mouse is the Chairman JCOS and as such, is the man, the last man in the military hierarchy with the responsibility to put himself between danger and the American people. Somewhere along his career path, he forgot that he’s a soldier and became a politician. When President Biden ordered a full-scale retreat from Afghanistan prior to securing the safety of our American citizens and allies, Gen. Mouse had a duty to say NO.  I will not give that order. At that moment, while not risking life or limb, Gen. Milley would have become a national hero. But because his career is more important to him than his duty, he became what he is today.

So here’s the I Told You So part. According to published reports, and this includes some liberal-leaning publications, General (Milley) Mouse found it necessary to contact his counterpart in China and discuss a preemptive (against the US), cowardly, and treasonous act. Imagine the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff warning the enemy before an attack. It’s difficult for me to contemplate. Besides—where would Gen. Milley-Mouse, a pusillanimous backstabber, ever find the intestinal fortitude to do something so egregious?

The answer is. He doesn’t need intestinal fortitude because he doesn’t think warning the enemy of an attack is egregious; it’s smart politics (at least he thinks so). He sees himself as a politician, not a soldier and that’s why he did what he did while serving President Trump. Could you imagine what would happen if he made that call while serving Presidents Obama or Biden? Or wait … wait for it … waittt … I’m having a prescient moment.

Maybe—just maybe, he is serving Obama/Biden.

PS – check these out.

I’ll Say What You Can’t

(if you’re in the military)

If you serve in any branch of the military, no matter your rank, you are expected never to speak out publically in opposition of your commanding officers or your commander in chief. If you do you suffer the consequences as did Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller. While to those outside the military, this might seem wrong and counterproductive, it is necessary. The point of such a rule is this. Only those who lead have all the facts, the big picture. And just because an order may seem wrong, it isn’t necessarily wrong, therefore orders must be followed, not questioned. It’s the only way a well-functioning military works.

Orders given—orders followed. There is trust on both sides of the equation. Leaders trust that their orders will be followed and those who are ordered trust that their leaders are doing what is right and just. Under normal circumstances and with competent leadership, the system works as it should. But there is an exception to this rule and there is only one solution: albeit a drastic one. If an order is so blatantly wrong that it can’t be obeyed, a soldier has a responsibility to his or her God, country, and fellow soldiers to disobey. But the cost is high, as it should be. It literally means losing everything.

You can see samples of this over and over in Hollywood productions both movies and TV where a junior officer refuses to carry out an order that a commanding officer issues. Usually, the commander has a personal agenda that doesn’t include the best interests of their country. Other times the leaders in charge are just bungling (woke) fools who are a disgrace to the uniform they don. But when push comes to shove and the cataclysmic end is near there’s always that lone soldier who stops the excrement from rolling any further down the hill, stands on principle and risking it all, disobeys an order. That’s the moment he or she becomes a true hero. In Hollywood it’s just a script, in the US armed forces, it means the end of your career.

Lt. Col Stuart Scheller had enough. There wasn’t one bad order or one bad commanding officer in Washington, the Afghanistan retreat is a hornet’s nest full of both. The list must be a mile long and at the top is Joe (the buck stops with me if I can’t find a way to blame Trump) Biden. Next comes Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley (mouse), then there’s the rest of the JCOS who have been conspicuously silent. Amongst all these decorated commanders, we have to go down the chain of command to Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller to find a man willing to risk it all.

That’s true heroism. But hell, what do I know, I’m just a bus driver.

For more perspective regarding the subject of me saying what those in the military can’t, please reference my previous posts The Tail is Wagging the Dog, where you’ll hear more about Gen. Milley (mouse) and also Shoes Before Socks, where some of the weak links in the chain are exposed.

PS – If by chance you are an active soldier and you like what you read, please do NOT share or retweet this content. You’ll probably get in trouble. But if you’re retired military and you like this stuff, feel free to spread the word.

The Tail is Wagging the Dog

(a real-life saga)

Starring in no particular order of relevance: DOD Press Secretary John Kirby, JCOS Gen. Mark Milley (mouse), Maj. Gen. William ‘Hank’ Taylor, Sec. of Defense Lloyd James Austin III, and last but not least US Sec. of State Antony John Blinken.

For the past few weeks (and probably more) these are the people responsible for the Afghanistan debacle. Joe Biden is just the fall guy. All you need to do is listen to a Joe Biden press conference and if you can make it to the end, the proof is in the pudding. The tail is wagging the dog.

Last week John Kirby said he had no indication that the Afghan Army would fall so fast. But the good news is our mission to secure the airport is a success.

Also last week, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley (mouse) took every opportunity to say that we had no indication the Afghan Army would fall so fast and the Taliban would take over equally as fast. But our mission to secure the airport is a success. Does this sound familiar?

It seemed as though Maj. Gen. William ‘Hank’ Taylor was a one-trick pony as well. Every question was answered pretty much the same way. Our mission was to secure the airport and the airport is secure. Wait, isn’t that what the other two guys said?

Sec. of Defense Lloyd James Austin III, in a total lapse of judgment and completely off the reservation, told the truth. He stated that regarding the ability to go out and rescue our citizens and allies the way the British, French, and even the Germans were able to do, we had no capability. I haven’t seen or heard from him since.

And Sec. of State Antony John Blinken who still thinks the best way to get our hostages (oops), I mean Americans and allies out of harm’s way is to negotiate with the Taliban. By the way, in case you don’t already know, the Taliban is harm’s way. You don’t negotiate with the Taliban. You tell the Taliban how they will die if they don’t comply.

Suffice it to say, if Blinken’s lips are moving, he’s lying.

If I were allowed into the Pentagon Briefing Room, I would have only one question for each of our illustrious stars. Why?

Why Mr. Kirby did you not have indications? Is it because Gen. Milley (mouse) didn’t inform you?

Why Gen. Milley (I’ll explain the mouse thing shortly) did you not have any indication whatsoever that the Afghan Army wasn’t up to the task? Isn’t it your job to know this fact? And isn’t it a dereliction of duty that you didn’t? Or maybe you were too wrapped up in Woking our military. How’s that working out for you?

Why Maj. Gen. Hank, didn’t you know? Gen. Milley (mouse) is far removed from boots on the ground but in a real way, aren’t you his backup? Why Maj. Gen. Hank Taylor didn’t you have any indications — oh wait. I already know the answer. The mission was to secure the airport and the airport is secure.

Why Sec. of Defense Austin III, did we not have capabilities similar to the British, French, and Germans? Is it because our Woke Generals in Washington and our Wokepolitical leadership suck Taliban donkey-di … Kong?

Why Sec. of State Antony (I don’t have an H in my first name because …) Blinken are you letting the Taliban … Oh never mind. If I ask you a why question your lips would move and quite frankly, I’ve had enough of the lies.

So the Tail is Wagging the Dog. It’s been that way since Biden took office and it will stay that way until we do something about it. If Joe gets impeached or removed from office because he’s incapacitated (physically and mentally), then Kamala becomes President and the Tail Continues to Wag the Dog (it’s called a sequel).

We need to reelect President Donald J. Trump if only so we can hear those immortal words, You’re Fired.

Now! For the moment we’ve all been waiting for. Why Gen. Mark Milley (mouse)? What gives me the right to criticize JCOS Gen. Mouse? Aren’t I not only disrespecting the man but also the uniform and this country? I submit to you that the answer to these questions is an emphatic NO. Read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

Joe Biden blows monkey-chunks as President of the United States. This statement disrespects the man, not the office he holds.

Gen. Milley-mouse I have another question for you. How do you find the courage to stand there at the podium in the Pentagon briefing room while wearing that uniform — and lie? I suppose I can understand why you would lie to the American people and even the world; hell … you’re a politician. But wearing that uniform implies that first, you are a soldier. How do you lie to the men and woman you command?

There are pictures of soldiers at the closed airport border gate that Joe Biden said was open and free-flowing … Sir, there are pictures of soldiers defying your orders and pulling women and children over the top of this gate. These Sir, are the heroes. Any one of them could take a sniper bullet at any moment. Yet they risk their lives, and yes, even their careers to save those who are innocent. My words don’t disgrace that uniform, Sir, you do. It’s time you do what you should have done before you gave the order to retreat, you should resign.

Maj. Gen. Hank Taylor, are you listening?
